At the Securrency blockchain team, we are building

• Distributed identity and compliance framework.
• Instruments to provide flexible regulations to transactions.
• Digital asset composer - the framework for issuing regulated assets.
• Our standard for regulated fungible tokens
• Various assets logics - financial instruments, games, etc
• Upgradability framework to make our development process as close to traditional software development as possible
• Internal tools for smart contracts testing and deployment using JavaScript

We are looking for an experienced QA automation engineer with a background in testing backends to join our Blockchain team.

Responsibilities

• Proactively work together with colleagues or independently to determine and develop automated test strategies for a wide range of testing issues and drive them to completion
• Ensuring the quality of Securrency Blockchain products (backend, smart contracts and frontend) and their successful deployment
• Create and execute test cases, triage bugs, and report testing status to project teams
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Constantly improve yourself by keeping up to date with the latest technologies trends

Requirements

• Proven work experience in software quality assurance
• Strong security-oriented mindset
• 3+ years experience in creating automation tests using JavaScript/TypeScript
• 3+ years experience with Cypress/WDIO or similar frameworks
• Experience with performance, fuzz, API testing
• Experience with CI / CD processes implementation
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
• Experience with DApps, Smart Contracts testing is a huge plus
