Posted on: Oct 25, 2023 : The QA Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our software products. They will be responsible for developing
and executing comprehensive test plans, identifying and reporting defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to
ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality. Responsibilities: 1. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for new and existing software products
2. Design and implement automated testing scripts using various testing frameworks and tools
3. Identify, report, and track defects found during testing, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and design, to ensure that products
meet quality standards
5. Participate in regression testing and validation of fixes
6. Analyze and review test results, and make recommendations for improvement
7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software testing
8. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior QA engineers Requirements: 1. 5+ years of experience in software testing, preferably in a QA engineer role
2. Strong knowledge of testing principles, methods, and tools
3. Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks and tools, such as Selenium, Appium, or Cucumber
4. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#
5. Experience with Agile methodologies and testing in an Agile environment
6. Strong understanding of SQL and database concepts
7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
8. Strong communication and collaboration skills
9. Experience with JIRA or other bug tracking tools
10. BS in Computer Science or a related field Preferred Qualifications: 1. Master\'s degree in Computer Science or a related field
2. Experience with mobile testing and/or cloud-based platforms
3. Knowledge of security testing and vulnerability assessment
4. Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
5. Certification in software testing, such as ISTQB or CSTE
6. Experience with machine learning or data analysis
