Procurement Specialist

Job Overview: The Procurement Specialist will play a vital role in ensuring efficient procurement processes for office furniture,office supply. Working closely with various internal stakeholders, the incumbent will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring office furniture that aligns with our quality standards and budgetary requirements. The ideal candidate should posses in-depth knowledge of the office furniture market, strong negotiation skills, and a proven track record in procurement.

Responsibilities:

- Negotiate favorable terms, prices, and contracts with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and on-time delivery. - Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, new product offerings, and emerging technologies related to office furniture. - Evaluate potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate issues related to procurement and delivery. - Monitor supplier performance, address any performance issues, and actively seek opportunities for process improvement and cost savings. - Keep abreast of sustainability initiatives and ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry best practices. - Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, cost analysis, savings, and other relevant metrics as required.

Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. - Proven experience in procurement, specifically in office furniture sourcing logistics and procurement. - Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with the ability to effectively communicate with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders. - Proficient in conducting market research, analyzing data, and making data-driven decisions. - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. - Familiarity with sustainability practices and environmental regulations related to office furniture procurement. - Proficient in using procurement software and tools for vendor management, contract administration, and reporting.
