To Raise Purchase Orders in line with business rules based on the requirements from the concerned department.
Ensure that Purchase Orders are approved in line with business rules/company policy
Emailing the Purchase Order and get it acknowledged by the supplier(s).
Establish good relationships with suppliers to obtain the most cost-effective pricing for goods/services & to ensure lead times are met and expedite outstanding orders.
Monitor the status of pending shipments /Orders and coordinate with the operations team to provide real-time updates.
Analyze and report on data covering all aspects of procurement operations.
Drive continuous improvement across Purchasing process. Desired Candidate Profile
Strong understanding of Purchasing principles and processes.
Experience with Purchasing systems (preferred).
Evaluate supplier quotes based on purchasing procedures and competitiveness in quality, price and delivery.
Analytical and have the ability to solve purchasing and inventory related problems.
Strong data entry skills.
Knowledge of Incoterms 2020 is a must.
Knowledge of ISO Standards (9001, 14001, 45001) is a must.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Experience and Proven Success in a Purchase Role.
Proactive, highly motivated, and flexible.
Highly organized.
Proficient in the use of MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Bachelor degree preferably Business Administration, logistics or a related field may be required.
4 - 6 years' experience in a Purchasing role
Proficiency in the relevant management /Purchasing software programs.
