Purchasing Manager
Job Summary:
The Purchasing Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic sourcing strategies for all goods and services required by the organization. This role ensures the timely procurement of high-quality products at the most favorable prices, while maintaining strong vendor relationships and upholding the company's quality and ethical standards.
Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for food, beverages, equipment, furniture, fixtures, and operating supplies. Negotiate contracts to secure best pricing, payment terms, and service levels.
• Vendor Management: Establish and maintain strong partnerships with vendors. Conduct regular performance reviews and manage the supplier database.
• Cost Control: Monitor market trends and prices to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality. Implement and manage a competitive bidding process for major purchases.
• Inventory Management Collaboration: Work with department heads (especially F&B and Finance) to establish par stock levels, minimize waste, and optimize inventory turnover.
• Procurement Policy: Develop and enforce purchasing policies and procedures to ensure transparency, efficiency, and compliance with company standards.
• Sustainability: Where applicable, source sustainable and locally produced goods to support the organization's environmental and social goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager in the hospitality or retail industry.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and contract management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of vendor sourcing and management practices.
• Proficiency in purchasing and inventory management software.
