Job Summary:

Responsible for sourcing the best quality equipment, goods and services for a company or organization at the most competitive prices as well as oversee supply chain management and procurement.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Forecasting levels of demand for services and products to meet the business needs and keeping a constant check on stock levels
• Conducting research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality
• Liaising between suppliers, manufacturers, relevant internal departments and customers
• Identifying potential suppliers, visiting existing suppliers, and building and maintaining good relationships with them
• Negotiating and agreeing contracts and monitoring their progress, checking the quality of service provided
• Processing payments and invoices
• Keeping contract files and using them as reference for the future
• Forecasting price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer - supplier
• Giving presentations about market analysis and possible growth
• Developing an organization\'s purchasing strategy
• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
• Evaluating bids and making recommendations based on commercial and technical factors
• Perform cost and scenarios analysis and benchmarking
• Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand

Competency Requirements:

• 3 \xe2\x80\x93 5 Years of experience as a Purchasing Manager in a group of companies
• F&B Retail Industry experience is mandatory
• Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management
• Interest in market dynamics along with business sense
• Strong negotiation and networking skill
• Working experience of vendor management software
• Good decision making abilities
• Strong leadership capabilities
• Ability to manage a team
• Degree in Supply Management, logistics or business administration
