Purchasing Engineer
Job Location : Dubai, UAE
Duties and Responsibilities:

Procuring material from local & abroad market.
Floating enquiries to the suppliers and sub-contractors during job in hand stage.
Preparing rate analysis/comparatives, cost variations, price negotiation and billing.
Liaising with the project engineers for preparing supplier lists for each purchased material for speeding up the procurement process and meeting projects requirements in a timely manner.
Processing purchase requisitions and placing various purchase orders with suppliers as per agreed terms and according to the approved projects schedule plans.
Study drawings, specifications and BOQ to start procurement of new project
Assist tender team for quotations if required

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
5+ Years of relevant work experience in Plumbing, Drainage & Fire Fighting works.
