Job Summary We are a well-established Furniture company based in the UK looking for a Female Purchasing Assistant who will assist the Purchasing Department, especially in the development and research of new products. We are mostly dealing with Furniture items, Giftware, lighting, and Wall Art. Tasks and Responsibilities
Can easily adapt to work environment
Having very good negotiation skill
Relevant technical knowledge
Ability to resolve problems in an efficient manner
Proficient in Microsoft Word Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook, and any relevant ERP system
Floating inquiries to the concerned suppliers
Receiving quotations from mentioned suppliers
Making the comparison of the quotations received
Performing vendor research and selection to enhance profitability, reduce operating costs, and boost efficiency
Submitting the comparison to the Purchase Manager for negotiation and finalization
Preparation of PO once the value and supplier is finalized
Forwarding the PO to Purchase Manager for approval
Maintaining proper filling of all the PRs and POs
Receiving and updating PR and LP logs
Assist Purchase Manager with any ad-hoc work
Should be excellent in admin-related tasks.
