Job Description
We are looking for a
Purchaser
with amechanical engineering background
to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in procurement of steel, consumables, tools, and equipment, with the ability to handle both local and overseas sourcing.Responsibilities:
Manage procurement of approximately
2,500 tons/month
of materials and consumables. Source and negotiate with local and international vendors forsteel, consumables, tools, equipment, and logistics/services
. Ensure timely issuance of RFQs and conversion to purchase orders (RFQ ? PO
cycle). Maintain cost control, vendor quality, and on-time-in-full (OTIF
) delivery compliance. Work closely with internal teams to ensureQA/QC
andERP
process compliance.Key Skills & Requirements:
Degree/Diploma in
Mechanical Engineering
(mandatory). Proven experience inprocurement and supply chain management
within the steel or manufacturing industry. Strongvendor network
andnegotiation skills
. Proficiency inERP systems
. Excellent communication and organizational skills.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
