Job Description
We are currently hiring a
Purchaser
with proven experience in thesteel manufacturing industry
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing raw materials, tools, equipment, and services essential for production operations, while maintaining cost-effectiveness and quality standards.Key Responsibilities:
Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers for steel and related materials Negotiate prices, delivery terms, and contracts with vendors Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely procurement of required materials Coordinate with the production and warehouse teams for material planning Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance Follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any discrepancies Evaluate market trends to identify potential supply risks or cost savings
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Purchaser in a steel or heavy manufacturing company Strong knowledge of steel products, specifications, and suppliers Excellent negotiation and communication skills Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities Strong organizational and documentation skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
