Job Description
We are looking for an experienced
Purchaser
to join our tent and shade manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing raw materials, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely procurement of materials required for tent structures, shade systems and fabrication projects.Key Responsibilities
Source and purchase materials such as
steel, aluminum profiles, PVC/HDPE fabrics, fittings, and accessories
Identify reliable suppliers and negotiatebest prices, terms, and delivery schedules
Prepare and processpurchase orders (POs)
in coordination with accounts and project teams Ensure timely availability of materials forproduction and site installation
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the warehouse to avoid shortages Verify material quality specifications and compliance with project requirements Maintain accurate procurement records supplier databases and documentation Coordinate with engineers teams for material planning Track deliveries resolve supplier issues and manage returns or replacements Support cost control and continuous improvement in procurement processesJob Requirements
Bachelor's degree
3+ years of purchasing experience
intents, shades, steel fabrication, or construction
Strong knowledge oflocal UAE suppliers and materials
Good negotiation and vendor management skills Proficiency inMS Excel and procurement documentation
