About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Purchaser to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Purchaser, you will play a crucial role in our procurement department, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining strong relationships with vendors while optimizing costs and quality.

Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including preparing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and maintaining accurate records Communicate and negotiate with vendors to obtain competitive quotes and resolve any discrepancies Monitor inventory levels and initiate reorder processes to maintain optimal stock levels Collaborate with internal departments to gather and process purchase requisitions Evaluate and select suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery time Prepare and analyze purchasing reports to identify cost-saving opportunities Develop and implement purchasing policies and procedures to improve efficiency Manage contracts and ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations Stay informed about market trends and identify opportunities for process improvements Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of goods

What do we need from you

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred) 5 -10 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or a related field in Construction or Inrastrucrure Industry in the UAE Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Exceptional time management and organizational skills In-depth knowledge of purchasing processes and best practices Familiarity with supplier management and vendor relationships Negotiation skills and ability to secure favorable terms Understanding of supply chain management principles Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with international trade regulations and local business practices in the UAE Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment * Adaptability to changing market conditions and business needs
