Responsibilities:
Handle the purchasing of aluminum systems, glass fabrication materials, ACP, and metal items.
Negotiate with suppliers, manage contracts, and ensure timely deliveries in accordance with project requirements.
Ensure purchased materials meet quality and specification standards.
Utilize purchasing software for inventory management, order tracking, and reporting.
Maintain accurate purchase records, inventory levels, and supplier databases.
Evaluate suppliers and pricing to optimize costs while maintaining high-quality standards.
Collaborate with production and project management teams to determine material requirements.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Purchaser specifically in the
Aluminum industry
.
Strong knowledge of aluminum systems, glass fabrication, ACP, and metal items.
Ability to independently manage supplier relationships and negotiate procurement contracts.
Proficient in using procurement software and other related software tools.
Strong communication, organizational, and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently under pressure.
Strong understanding of inventory control and cost management.
