Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive

Purchaser

with a strong background in general trading and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing products locally and internationally, negotiating with suppliers, ensuring timely procurement, and maintaining optimal inventory levels to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Source and procure products based on business requirements from both local and international markets Identify reliable suppliers and maintain strong vendor relationships Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules to optimize cost efficiency Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse and sales teams to manage stock availability Evaluate supplier performance regularly in terms of quality, delivery, and compliance Ensure compliance with company policies and UAE import/export regulations Prepare and process purchase orders, and maintain accurate procurement records Track shipments, resolve delays, and manage the complete purchasing cycle Provide regular reports on market trends, pricing, and product availability Collaborate with the finance department to ensure timely payments and accurate costing

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field Minimum 5 years of proven purchasing experience in general trading within the UAE Strong knowledge of UAE local market and international sourcing practices Excellent negotiation and communication skills Strong analytical and organizational skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (experience with Tally/SAP is a plus) Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Valid UAE driving license is an advantage
