The Purchase Manager is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing quality products and services at competitive prices for the business. This role ensures timely procurement, cost-effectiveness, and consistency in supply, while maintaining strong vendor relationships and inventory control.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed.
Issue purchase orders and maintain purchase records.
Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed to ensure availability without overstocking.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.
Maintain supplier database and evaluate supplier performance regularly.
Collaborate with the culinary, service, and finance teams to forecast demand and track budget.
Ensure all procurement activities are compliant with company policies and regulations.
Track incoming deliveries and resolve any supply issues or delays.
Optimize purchase processes for efficiency and cost savings.
Prepare regular reports on purchase trends, stock levels, and supplier performance.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in purchasing/procurement, preferably in hospitality or F&B industry.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Proficiency in inventory software and Microsoft Office.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
High attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with food and beverage purchasing.
Knowledge of UAE suppliers and import procedures .
Multilingual skills (Arabic/Hindi/English) are an advantage.
