We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented

Purchase Executive

to join our growing team in the

oil and lubricants sector

. The ideal candidate will have experience in procurement, vendor management, and inventory control--preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. You will play a key role in sourcing raw materials, packaging, and other essential supplies to ensure smooth and cost-effective operations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the entire procurement process from supplier identification to purchase order and delivery Source and evaluate suppliers for raw materials, base oils, additives, and packaging materials Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors to ensure cost savings Maintain and update purchase records, pricing, and supplier details Coordinate with production, warehouse, and finance departments to align purchasing activities with business needs Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment to avoid shortages or overstocking Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery, and compliance Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies and regulatory standards Generate regular reports on purchase activities, costs, and inventory trends

Requirements

2-5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the

oil, lubricants, or chemical industry

Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier negotiation, and inventory management Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems (Tally, SAP, or similar) Good communication, analytical, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with sourcing

base oils, additives, drums, bottles, cartons

, and other industrial packaging Experience in logistics coordination and customs procedures (for import/export, if applicable) Knowledge of GST, taxation, and vendor compliance documentation

Experience:
