Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchase Executive with expertise in sourcing and procuring luggage and travel-related products. The role involves vendor development, price negotiations, procurement planning, and ensuring timely availability of products while maintaining quality standards and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers for luggage and travel accessories. Manage end-to-end procurement cycle, including purchase orders, follow-ups, and timely deliveries. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts to achieve cost savings. Monitor market trends, competitor products, and raw material costs to optimize procurement strategy. Ensure compliance with company standards for product quality and specifications. Maintain accurate records of purchase transactions, supplier contracts, and inventory levels. Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, and sales teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations. Build long-term relationships with suppliers to secure favorable terms and consistent product quality. Work closely with the product development/merchandising team for new designs, styles, and innovations in luggage. Track key procurement KPIs (cost savings, lead times, vendor performance).

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 3-5 years' proven experience in procurement/purchasing within the luggage, bags, or consumer goods industry. Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills. Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Excel, and procurement software. Knowledge of import/export procedures and international sourcing is an advantage. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
