Job Description

Job Summary:



The Purchase Executive is responsible for managing the procurement of materials, supplies, and equipment required for company operations. This role involves vendor management, cost optimization, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality goods and services to support business needs.

Key Responsibilities:



Vendor Management:



Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery capabilities. Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to secure cost-effective deals.

Procurement Operations:



Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures. Monitor inventory levels and initiate purchases to maintain optimal stock levels. Ensure the timely delivery of materials and resolve any issues related to delays or quality concerns.

Cost Management:



Conduct market research to stay updated on material prices and market trends. Develop cost-saving strategies and initiatives to enhance profitability.

Documentation and Compliance:



Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance. Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and legal regulations.

Collaboration:



Work closely with the operations, production, and finance teams to align procurement plans with business requirements. Coordinate with the Quality Assurance team to verify the quality of purchased goods.

Reporting and Analysis:



Prepare procurement reports and provide insights into purchasing performance and cost trends. Monitor supplier performance and recommend improvements where necessary.

Qualifications and Skills:



Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Experience:

2+ years of experience in procurement preferably in the interior fit-out or related industry.

Skills:

Strong negotiation and communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Analytical mindset with a focus on cost optimization and problem-solving.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
