Experience

: Min 5 years overall experience. 3 years GCC experience

Skills and knowledge needs

Strong knowledge about German automotive brands.

Should be able to identify replacement and substitute part numbers for major German Brands.

Able to distinguish and identify automotive parts.

Adequate knowledge about major parts vendors within the country.

Strong knowledge about fast moving parts within the industry.

Effective knowledge of various brands in the current German automotive industry.

Roles & Responsibilities

Purchase products using solid arguments from existing and prospective vendors.

Closely working with dealerships, resellers, wholesalers, retailers etc to purchase products at the best rates possible.

Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and vendor relationships.

Maintain adequate inventory levels for fast moving items, forecasting demand, managing stock levels, and making optimal purchasing decisions.

Maintaining good relationships with other departments within the company.

Constantly researching market conditions to evaluate future purchase requirements and implementing intelligent restocking decisions.

Effectively monitoring purchases made and implementing strategies to reduce the dead stock levels.

Achieve agreed upon purchase targets and outcomes within schedule.

Managing the returns for the purchases made, following up with vendors from beginning to end to finalize the returns.

Working with suppliers to process the claims for defective parts purchased.

Working with wholesalers periodically to process orders at higher volumes thereby procuring items at the best possible market rates.

Connecting with vendors outside UAE to import products to the country at better rates.
