: The Purchasing Coordinator creates and maintains meaningful liaison with vendors to assure the constant procurement of supplies. He / She confers with Buyer/Senior Buyer to determine the amount and type of SKU's needed and ensure that they are delivered to the warehouse in a timely fashion. To help Business Units, create and issue purchase orders using existing software or SAP, and to aid with inventory by managing ITEM master's in system.
Key Responsibilities
As guided, implements department procedures and realizing department goals.
Handles the day-to-day activities of the Procurement department such as making PO, system update in terms of product listing, changes in product item master and coordination with all supermarkets and warehouses along with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
Ensures competent quality execution of all regular purchasing duties and administrative works.
Maintains complete updated purchasing records/data and pricing in the system.
Prepares reports and support buyers in analysing purchasing trends and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Schedules supplier visits and conducts competitor survey Execution and monitoring of all regular purchasing duties.
Supports relevant documents such as competitors PO and Price Tag for the purpose of cost calculation and RSP.
Responsible for the preparation and process purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
:
Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a similar field preferred.
Positive attitude and eagerness to learn and develop professionally with keen eye for detail and accuracy.
Person should be with strong communication skills, well organized with strong analytical, problem-solving skills, familiarity with inventory management practices.
Experience: Minimum 2 years up to 5 years in the field of procurement, category management, supply chain management in UAE or Gulf region.
Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Packages including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint. Well versed with any ERP and preferred in SAP.
Competencies

Need Analytic skills, basic willingness to work along with teamwork coordination etc. and preferred skill of proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools etc.
