Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and commission instrumentation and control systems, including sensors, transmitters, PLCs, and DCS for process automation. Conduct site inspections and testing of instrumentation systems to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards. Collaborate with project managers, electrical engineers, and other disciplines to deliver projects on time and within budget. Prepare detailed technical documentation, including instrumentation datasheets, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, and instrument index. Troubleshoot and resolve instrumentation issues during installation, commissioning, and operational phases. Ensure compliance with UAE-specific standards such as ESMA regulations, DEWA, ADNOC, and other relevant authorities. Support maintenance teams with instrumentation calibration and preventive maintenance schedules. Provide technical support and training to junior engineers and technicians. Manage procurement and vendor coordination for instrumentation equipment and materials. Implement HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) practices aligned with UAE regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Proven 3-7 years of instrumentation engineering experience with projects executed in the UAE. Strong knowledge of instrumentation design, control systems (PLC/DCS), and process automation. Familiarity with international and UAE standards such as IEC, ISA, NEC, ESMA, and local authority requirements. Proficient with instrumentation design software and tools (AutoCAD, SmartPlant Instrumentation, etc.). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams. Experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, power plants, or industrial sectors is a plus. Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
