We are looking forward to hiring a Pulmonologist who focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of lung diseases. The field involves broad scope and includes the treatment of many conditions from asthma to cancer, from tuberculosis to sleep disorders.

Must have the ability to diagnose illnesses and treat patients with lung disease. To work with physical therapists to develop exercise programs geared towards improving lung health.

Duties and Responsibilities

\xe2\x97\x8f Performing diagnostic procedures, such as pulmonary function tests, bronchoscopies, sputum analysis, biopsies, cultures, and arterial blood gas tests

\xe2\x97\x8f Providing patients with ongoing care for chronic conditions such as asthma, lung cancer, emphysema, chronic bronchitis or pneumonia

\xe2\x97\x8f Performing surgery to treat lung diseases or disorders that cannot be treated through other means

\xe2\x97\x8f Prescribing medications to help control symptoms of certain conditions

\xe2\x97\x8f Diagnosing and treating patients with pulmonary disorders, including asthma, emphysema, tuberculosis, pneumonia, lung cancer, interstitial lung disease, lung infections, and other conditions

\xe2\x97\x8f Providing medical care to patients in hospitals or intensive care units while supervising the work of other medical staff members

\xe2\x97\x8f Tracking patient\'s progress with periodic follow up visits

Requirements:

Requirements / Skills / Qualifications

\xe2\x97\x8f Bachelor\'s degree in Medicine and Specialization certificate in Pulmonology

\xe2\x97\x8f Completion of internship in Medicine and clinical residency in pulmonology.

\xe2\x97\x8f Active medical license to practice with good standing

\xe2\x97\x8f Good communication skills

\xe2\x97\x8f 3-4 years of minimum work experience in the specialty field

\xe2\x97\x8f Willing to work on high pressure and long working hours
