The Role
The Public Areas include public bathrooms, lobby areas, corridors, and all indoor and outdoor areas in a hotel. . Sweep and mop public area floors, clean/disinfect public area bathrooms to a high standard . Empty garbage bins from the public areas daily & restock all cleaning supplies as required . Cleaning of all public areas such as windows, corridors, lobby areas, public bathrooms, stairwells, pool areas, and all indoor and outdoor areas . Carry out any other duties as instructed by the shift Supervisor/senior . Meet and greet guests in a polite and friendly manner . Keeping all lobbies and public area facilities such as lobby restrooms, telephone area, business center, and the front desk, and portico, lobby lounge in neat and clean conditions.
Requirements

• Chemical and Cleaning machinery knowledge and experience . Occupational Health & Safety Card (UAE accreditation) . Understanding of the Occupational Health & Safety Legislation and Standards in the UAE . Housekeeping sequence of service skills . Cleaning skills . Laundry Skills . Must have a strong comprehension of English . Must have strong English-speaking skills . Must have strong interpersonal skills . Must hold strong customer service skills . Must be a strong team player . Must be able to build rapport with the customer . Must be energetic and enthusiastic . Must have excellent hygiene and grooming standards . Must have the ability to deal with different customers . Must have the ability to work under pressure and solve problems
