Assignment Description

Manage the Commissioning Permit to Work System

Commissioning PTW support for the Company personnel at the Contractor shipyard(s). Assist users in the preparation of their Commissioning PTWs ensuring that all isolation, safety requirements and precautions, support drawings and documents are specified where applicable. Verifies that the scope of work is clearly defined on Company PTW applications. Reviews the Electrical and Process / Mechanical isolation register. Supports Contractor for any construction work or re-work in commissioning-controlled areas. Verifies that PTW applicants understand their work scope, safety requirements and precautions through random participation in toolbox talks. Check for conflicts, creating potential hazardous situations, between PTW applications i.e. monitor / check any conflicting work scopes between Site Acceptance PTW's and Company Commissioning PTW's. Reviews Company PTW and subsequently submits the PTW applications to the daily meetings. Follow up the LUN register as documented in PIMS. Liaises directly with the persons concerned with on the PTW system issues and report for such issues to the Management.

Qualifications

Experience in Dubai Drydocks is a MUST. National recognized Safety qualification/ Diploma in associated Safety Discipline 10 + years' experience in similar role with regards to onshore / offshore oil & FPSO conversion(s). Good communication skills. Written and spoken English is essential Willing to work within a multi-cultural team. Applicants should be able to demonstrate a real commitment to safety, delivery, and quality. Committed and flexible on work location in support of overall project goals.
