Sales Development Representative (SDR) is an entrepreneurially-minded role responsible for progressing, validating, and qualifying inbound prospects/clients. The main goal is business development (Sales Generation) of IBM Products and Services for our clients that flow to our IBM Digital Platforms (Website, Social Media, Chat..etc)

Sales Development Representative (SDR) is an entrepreneurially-minded role responsible for progressing, validating, and qualifying inbound prospects/clients. The main goal is business development (Sales Generation) of IBM Products and Services for our clients that flow to our IBM Digital Platforms (Website, Social Media, Chat..etc)
Your Role and Responsibilities
- Prospecting Skills (Hunter Skills) – lead nurturing and campaign optimization to progress the Marketing Qualified Leads originating from digital inbound and marketing campaigns.
- Execute the digital sales strategic mission – understands the critical sales plays and value proposition of the organization, e.g., Digital Focus Products.
- Understand the Digital End-to-End Processes – uses digital tools along the sales process.
- Digital Research – develop business acumen by understanding buyer personas, influencing factors affecting industries/clients and analyzing social media interactions, and competitive insights.
- Listening Skills / Rapport Building – understand client need and propose IBM solution.
- Communications (Video Engagement, Oral & Written) – sellers must be able to create engaging videos; ability to write an effective in-mail/email with internal teams, prospects/clients.
- Collaboration / Team Building – identify resources to progress the opportunity, understands the client needs and engages subject matter experts.
- Digital Networking & content curation – leveraging seller connections/ social presence, by knowing what content to share, how often and to whom; creating blogs, posts, and articles to elevate seller to subject matter expert status.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as working independently when required.
- Having growth mindset, and commitment to continuous learning and personal development.
- Ability to thrive in an ever changing, technology-based environment.
- Passionate about technology and client’s success
- Fluent English Language, Fluency in other European language - French or German is a plus.
- Good knowledge of Agile and Design Thinking
