Psychiatric Assessment & Diagnosis: Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations to diagnose mental health disorders using DSM-5 or ICD criteria.
Medication Management: Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications, ensuring appropriate use and management of side effects.
Therapeutic Interventions: Deliver brief psychotherapeutic support and collaborate with psychologists and therapists for ongoing treatment.
Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans in consultation with patients and interdisciplinary care teams.
Crisis Management: Respond effectively to psychiatric emergencies and provide acute care interventions when necessary.
Case Documentation: Maintain accurate, confidential clinical documentation and progress reports.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with psychologists, social workers, primary care physicians, and nursing staff.
Patient Education: Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and adherence to care plans.

Requirements
:
Education: Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) with specialization in Psychiatry (MD/PgDip/PgCert or equivalent).
Experience: Minimum of 3 years' clinical experience post-specialization in Psychiatry.
License/Certification: Valid DHA license or DHA eligibility letter as a Psychiatrist (mandatory).
Skills: Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills, empathy, professionalism, and the ability to manage patients from diverse backgrounds.
Language: Proficiency in English is required; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
