Key Responsibilities
Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and develop tailored treatment plans.
Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions as needed.
Prescribe and manage appropriate medications, monitoring patient progress and potential side effects.
Collaborate with psychologists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with medical and legal standards.
Stay updated with the latest psychiatric research, therapies, and best practices.
Support mental health awareness initiatives and patient education programs within the center.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education:
Medical degree (MBBS/MD) with a specialization in Psychiatry.
License:
Valid HAAD/DHA/MOH license or eligibility for licensure in Abu Dhabi.
Experience:
Minimum
3-5 years
of clinical experience as a Psychiatrist, preferably within the UAE or GCC region.
Language Skills:
Fluent in Arabic
(mandatory).
Proficiency in
English
is highly preferred.
Strong diagnostic, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
Familiarity with culturally sensitive approaches to mental health treatment.
