Psychiatrist a medical doctor specializing in mental health, responsible for diagnosing and treating mental disorders through various therapeutic methods and medications.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnosing Mental Health Disorders
: Psychiatrists assess patients to diagnose conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and PTSD.Developing Treatment Plans
: They create individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient feedback, which may include psychotherapy and medication management.Prescribing Medications
