PROVOST AND CHIEF ACADEMIC OFFICERAMERICAN UNIVERSITY OF SHARJAHSHARJAH, UAE The PositionThe American University of Sharjah (AUS) invites applications and nominations of candidates forProvost and Chief Academic Officer. The Provost provides vision and leadership for all academic enterprises, manages all academic affairs,and supports the operations of the Colleges and School of Business Administration. The Provost has broad oversight responsibilities forfaculty and research, including support services such as the library and sponsored programs, support of undergraduate and graduationeducation (including academic advising and other academic services, the registrar, and graduate engagement), assurance of learning andaccreditation, diversity and inclusion, and international education. The Provost is a member of the AUS senior leadership team and reportsdirectly to the Chancellor.
