Protection And Control Engineer
Job Description
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
4-5 years of experience in protection and control engineering
Configure, test, and commission protective relays (such as ABB, Siemens, SEL, Schneider, GE, etc.).
Strong experience in testing of switchgear components like CT, VT, Circuit breaker, Transformer, etc.
Conduct routine and preventive maintenance of protection and control systems.
Familiar in protection logic, SLDs (Single Line Diagrams), and control wiring diagrams.
Strong knowledge of protection principles: overcurrent, differential, distance, earth fault, under/overvoltage, etc.
Hands-on experience with relay configuration and testing software (e.g., PCM600, DIGSI, SEL AcSELerator, MiCOM S1, etc.).
Knowledge of communication protocols (IEC 61850, Modbus, DNP3).
Good teamwork, documentation, and safety awareness.
