Job Description

Summary:

We are looking for a Proposal Engineer with strong experience in industrial automation, specifically PLC and SCADA systems. The role involves preparing technical and commercial proposals, reviewing client specifications, and developing automation solutions that meet project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Review tender documents and client requirements related to automation, PLC, SCADA, and instrumentation systems. Prepare technical proposals, system architecture, I/O lists, and control system descriptions. Estimate costs, prepare BOQs/BOMs, and develop complete commercial proposals. Select PLC, SCADA, HMI, VFDs, and instrumentation components based on project needs. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and suppliers to gather accurate technical and pricing information. Attend client meetings and support the sales team with technical clarifications. Ensure proposals comply with industry standards and company capabilities.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related engineering field. 3-5 years of experience in automation and control systems (PLC/SCADA). Hands-on knowledge of PLC programming and SCADA configuration (Siemens, Schneider, ABB, Rockwell, etc.). Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, control drawings, and technical specifications. Strong skills in cost estimation and proposal preparation. Good communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in industrial automation projects (water, wastewater, HVAC, manufacturing, oil & gas, etc.). Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP). Vendor coordination and technical evaluation experience.
