About the role: As Property Project Manager you will be responsible for helping us achieve this ambition:
Evaluate the Airport’s property portfolio on a regular basis and ensure that it is optimized.
Identify opportunities for expanding the property portfolio.
Create new business relationships to expand the portfolio of commercial customers.
Manages the end to end aspect of all activities associated to property management activities for all Stakeholders operating at Hamad International Airport - relationship management, space allocation, property audits, contract & lease management and other associated activities.
Shall be the primary point of contact for all Stakeholders operating and having property/space assignment at HIA.
Accountable in supporting the department’s property & space allocation activities according to MATAR’s approved policies, work flow and best industry practices.
Develop and manage the stakeholder & relationship framework – including and not limiting to establish & manage appropriate agreements.
Assuring all property & space management activities are aligned to MATAR and overall Qatar Airways Group’s financial and operational objectives.
Build close work relationships with internal teams – specifically Strategy and the Major Projects Department for activities and plans related to airport master planning.
Shall be the mediator between Stakeholder and relevant MATAR internal departments such as (Facilities Managements, Security, Operations, Information Technology, etc.) in obtaining technical & operational advices associated to properties managed by MATAR. This includes activities associated to property handover and Operational Readiness (ORAT) for newly constructed & commissioned properties & facilities.
Accountable for developing and managing periodical property reports, dashboards & system – including & not limited to ERP system (Oracle Property Management System – OPMS), property audits & compliance report, contract / lease overviews, financial report, etc.
Manage and co-administer space allocation database across the campus.
Responsible for the preparation & review of official correspondences, preparation of tenancy/lease /license agreement documentations (including renewals) - propose & secure approval for lease terms, initiate CMS, QCAS and OPMS.
Provide necessary support to other team members within the Department and Division (when required or when requested).
Qualifications About you:
Without a Degree:
High School Qualification/Vocational Qualification/Diploma or Equivalent (type of Diploma based on role) with a minimum 7 years work-related experience
OR
With a Degree:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administrations - Management / Economics / Entrepreneurship / Supply Chain Management / Retail Management, etc. or Equivalent with minimum 6 years of work-related experience
Shall have experience in the field of airport property space management/commercial leasing / commercial project management, OR
Experience in leasing of spaces associated to high volume commercial complexes or malls or multimodal infrastructure.
Strong communication and soft skills.
Business acumen.
Good command of Verbal and Written English; mathematically inclines; MS Office including advance Project Management, Excel and detail oriented.
Knowledgeable in Oracle Property Management System (OPMS) or other ERP based system.
Sound and solid understanding & command of property leases / tenancies / licenses / concession agreements.
Willingness & initiative to work independently whilst maintaining strict confidentiality of information/data/records.
Solution focused and demonstrate strong work ethics.
Ability to work in a cross-cultural and multi-national environment.
Team player and able to take responsibilities.
Able to train & set example to subordinates & peers.
