Job Description

Manage and supervise construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. Coordinate with architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. Prepare and review project plans, drawings, and specifications to identify potential issues and propose solutions. Monitor project progress, track expenses, and manage project budgets to ensure financial targets are met. Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure workmanship and materials meet required standards. Resolve any technical issues or discrepancies that may arise during the construction process. Provide technical support and guidance to project team members, including junior engineers and technicians. Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities to address concerns, obtain approvals, and ensure project compliance. Prepare progress reports, documentation, and other project-related reports as required. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Proven 5-7 yrs of experience as a Project/Site Engineer in the construction industry, preferably with a building contracting company. Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction techniques, and materials. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes. Valid professional engineering license (preferred).
