Responsibilities
Execute and continuously refine the procurement strategy as defined by the Project Management Team (PMT), tailoring it to the specific needs of each package.
Support package procurement engineers in engaging directly or via expediting agencies with key suppliers and EPC contractors to ensure timely delivery of vendor packages.
Monitor and analyze procurement trends across all packages to identify performance patterns and areas for improvement.
Provide regular reports to management highlighting successes and challenges within the procurement process.
Evaluate vendor performance throughout the project execution phase, synthesize findings, and provide insights into market conditions.
Profile
Engineering Degree or Masters
Minimum 10 years' experience of which: 5 years general upstream oil and gas experience
Experience in similar position (years): min 5 in a large oil and gas organization
Familiar with project procedures, Management System standards and guidelines.
