- Project Manager (Furniture Manufacturing)



Job Summary:



We are looking for an experienced

Project Manager with a strong background in interior fit-out and furniture manufacturing

to lead the execution of customized interior projects. The role involves coordinating betw een design, production, procurement, and site installation teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of furniture and interior fit-out works.

Key Responsibilities:



Project Planning & Execution:



Plan, manage, and deliver interior fit-out and furniture projects from start to finish. Coordinate between internal teams (design, production, procurement) and external stakeholders (clients, consultants, contractors). Develop detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans. Ensure compliance with client specifications, drawings, and quality standards.

Furniture & Fit-Out Coordination:



Manage custom/bespoke furniture production timelines and installation. Interpret furniture shop drawings and ensure they are aligned with site conditions. Coordinate with joinery, metal, and upholstery workshops for production progress. Oversee logistics and site readiness for smooth delivery and installation.

Client & Stakeholder Management:



Serve as the main point of contact for clients during project execution. Lead progress meetings and provide regular updates to all stakeholders. Manage expectations, variations, and approvals proactively.

Quality, Safety, and Compliance:



Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality of work and safety compliance. Work closely with QA/QC and HSE teams to ensure proper implementation. Ensure installation aligns with approved design, material samples, and finishes.

Required Qualifications & Skills:



Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in interior fit-out and furniture project management.

Strong knowledge of materials, joinery techniques, production processes, and furniture fittings. Experience handling

modular furniture

,

custom cabinetry

, and

loose/built-in furniture installations

. Proficient in reading technical drawings and coordinating shop drawing approvals. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and leadership skills. Familiar with MS Project, AutoCAD, and other project tools; ERP exposure is a plus. PMP or similar certification is an added advantage.

Preferred Experience:



Experience working with

furniture factories or manufacturing units

. Prior involvement in

retail, corporate office, hospitality, or high-end residential projects

. Knowledge of

material sourcing

and

local/international procurement

. Experience working with architects and ID consultants.
