Job Summary:

Mashriq Elite Development is seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Project Technical Engineer

to oversee and support the technical aspects of our projects from planning to execution. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that engineering designs and project specifications are accurately implemented, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project goals on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure seamless integration of technical requirements in all phases of the project.

Conduct detailed analysis of Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and also perform vendor analysis including technical capabilities, reviewing quotations and recommending suitable vendors based on quality, cost-effectiveness and compliance with specifications.

Serve as the primary liaison between consultants and the internal project team regarding all technical matter.

Review and interpret engineering drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.

Provide technical guidance and support throughout the lifecycle of the project including planning, execution, and close-out.

Identify and resolve technical issues or discrepancies during project execution.

Assist in the preparation of project documentation such as technical reports, material submittals, RFIs, and change orders.

Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Liaise with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of materials and services.

Participate in project meetings, prepare status reports, and provide technical input as required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

Minimum of 5 Years experienced as technical engineering role within a project-based environment.

Strong knowledge of engineering principles, construction methods, and project management processes.

Proficient in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, Primavera, etc.).

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Skills:

PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus. Experience in high-rise construction, MEP systems, infrastructure projects.
