Due to the growth of our organization, we are looking for a (Project) Superintendent Based in Dubai UAE In the role of (project) superintendent you will be involved in project preparation and be deployed on various project sites around the world for supervising the loading and discharge operations of the vessels, our own self loading and unloading bulk carriers. You will be reporting directly to the General Manager. We are looking for a communicative, decisive, driven, enthusiastic, reliable and flexible candidate with a proven track record of maritime projects.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Project preparation with client and vessel
- Organize / lead project pre-planning meetings, toolbox meetings and kick-off meetings
- Act as the primary point of contact between client site team and vessel
- Site visits to load and discharge location prior project awarding
- Attending load and discharge operations
- Internal communication towards on shore operation team
- Production improvement and \xe2\x80\x93reporting
- Make all on site arrangements to ensure a successful project
- Regular visits to own liner vessels for ensuring good operation
Required qualifications / skills

- Based in Dubai
- 4-5 years relevant project experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (in English)
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Willingness to long term and frequently travel worldwide for periods of 1 \xe2\x80\x93 3 months
- Hands on and flexible to work in office and on site environment
