Job Description

Our client, a leading construction / Fit-Out company is seeking for an experienced Site Engineer - MEP (Retail Fit-Out) for their Abu Dhabi and Dubai division. Location: Abu Dhabi Salary: AED 8,000 + Car + Other Benefits (After Probation - AED 12,000) Responsibilities:

• Responding with appropriate and necessary levels of construction supervision to provide quality assurance in accordance with contract documents.

• Supervise all on-site construction including subcontractor's, resolve day-to-day problems on the job site and inspect all work during construction to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
• Check & supervise all work being done by contractor.
• Carry out routine work check to ensure that quality of services meets the service level agreements and excels key performance indicators.
• Continually review the contractor's construction schedule during the progress of the site works regarding MEP services and report to the Project Director on the same.
• Observing the safety procedures followed by the contractor and issuing instructions as necessary to correct safety violations.

Requirements:

• BSc in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 4 years experience in Construction and Management of the site team.
• Capable of carrying out site HSE and Quality audits on a regular basis
• Good communication skills in English (verbal and written)
• Excellent leadership and teamwork skills
• Familiar with various construction methods and materials, their characteristics, installation procedures
• Advanced computer proficiency in MS Office applications, Access, AutoCAD etc.

Experience:

• Project Coordinator: 4 years (Preferred)
• (UAE) Site Engineer (MEP) - Retail Fit-Out: 4 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• UAE Driving License (Required)
