Project Quantity Surveyor

Job Description
Responsibilities:
Prepare cost estimates and budgets for landscape construction projects. Analyze drawings (hard copy/digital), specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate quantity takeoffs. Collaborate with Project Managers and Engineers to develop cost-effective solutions and value engineering proposals. Monitor project costs and budgets throughout the construction phase, identifying and addressing deviations. Participate in project meetings, prepare progress reports, cost forecasts, and financial documentation as required. Ensure compliance with contractual agreements (monthly applications/variations/final accounting/taking over certificates/defect liability certificate) industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field. Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction or landscaping industry. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and costing principles. Proficiency in quantity takeoff/preparation of variations/extension of time/final accounts/FIDIC Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of team.
Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards governing landscape construction projects is preferred
