Design and develop mechanical components and systems for chemical injection skids, ensuring compliance with performance, safety, and regulatory standards (e.g., API 674 & 675).
Analyze pump systems for performance and reliability, identifying opportunities for optimization.
Plan and manage engineering projects - from conceptualization and design through to manufacturing and installation - including scope, timeline, resources, and budget.
Define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and specifications related to the design and manufacture of chemical injection packages.
Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team, ensuring the integration of various components such as pumps, valves, instrumentation, and control systems, whilst making sure of seamless system performance.
Maintain detailed documentation including drawings, design specs, progress reports, and compliance records.
Identify major lead items, and organize, plan, and schedule workflows to complete milestones and deliver projects on time.
Analyze mechanical failures, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions.
Oversee workflow, manage lead items, and ensure timely project milestone completion.
What You Bring:
Minimum Skill Sets:
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical components used in chemical injection systems.
Possess good working knowledge of various instrumentation and electrical components commonly used in chemical injection packages.
Ability to analyze mechanical failures and implement corrective actions.
Review and approve vendor-provided mechanical components and sub-systems.
Support full lifecycle execution: design, procurement, manufacturing, testing, commissioning.
Skilled in project scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project).
Proficient in managing change orders and vendor communications.
Technical & Behavioral Competencies:
Deep knowledge of pump hydraulics, fluid mechanics, and skid-mounted system design.
Experience with various pump technologies - pneumatic, solar-powered, air/electric-driven, etc.
Understanding of corrosion-resistant materials (e.g., SS316, Hastelloy, PVDF, PTFE).
Capable of reviewing vendor documentation, MTCs, ITPs, and preparing datasheets.
Strong collaboration skills with engineering contractors for piping stress, tank design, and structural analysis.
High attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and time management.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Have a degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 7 years of experience working with Chemical Injection Systems.
Possess a valid UAE driver's license, preferably with your own car.
