Our client is looking for an energized and capable professional for the role of a Project Manager - Skids. Purpose of the Job
Manage planning and execution of Modular Skids (CI Skids, HIPPS, etc.) Projects from job award to delivery within scope, schedule, and budget
Principal Responsibilities / Accountabilities
Prepare project budget and plan.
Organize project execution team for the modular skid projects
Prepare a project execution plan indicating the project organization, roles, and responsibilities of the project team.
Collate Engineering, Procurement, QA-QC documents for client submission.
Manage project procurement and find creative solutions for cost optimization
Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Procurement, and QA-QC for availability of materials, manpower, inspection, and fabrication activities as per schedule/plan.
Coordination with client and their engineering consultant for approval of basic/detailed engineering documents, and resolution of technical queries.
Coordinate with the Engineering team to finalize the SDRL document list and planning at the beginning of the project.
Define the KPIs for the team and monitor & implement the effective integrated key milestone plan for timely project delivery.
Review and approval of the Project plan and schedule.
Track and monitor scope change with reference to the scope of work.
Project review: organize and conduct internal and external project review meetings and monitor action lists.
Project reporting: Circulate weekly/Monthly Project reports and appraise management on project status and escalate major issues if any.
Responsible for complete customer satisfaction (as a minimum) and customer relation (at best)
Responsible for Customer / End User\xe2\x80\x99s complaints and feedback
REQUIREMENTS
Education
Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical or Chemical engineering from an accredited institute
Professional experience of 12-15 years minimum
Minimum of 5 - 8 years of project management experience in modular skids projects
Minimum 5 years of working experience in UAE
Skills/Competencies
Excellent verbal and written English & knowledge of Arabic would give an edge
Excellent leadership skills
Good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
Decision making quality based upon analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgment
In-depth knowledge and understanding of project planning, process optimization and information management systems
Practical experience of bringing manufacturing excellence for repeatability, productivity and cost effectiveness
Experience of establishing manufacturing and execution processes for large scale manufacturing with quality and efficiency
Excellent Vendor management skill
Customer centric and have strong experience of managing customers globally
