The Role
Reporting to: General Manager Subordinates: Site Engineers, Supervisors, Draughtsmen Other interactions: Finance Department, Production, Installation Sub-Contractors Number required: 1 Duration: Permanent Position Other Benefits: Car, Petrol, Sim Card. Main responsibilities: \xe2\x80\xa2 Managing a team which include Project Coordinator/s, Draughtsmen, Site Engineer/s, Foreman/s, to make sure that sites are being run in the correct manner and the progress is good. This includes, all paper works which need to be communicated with the site, site handover after completion, following up payments which should be processed on time. \xe2\x80\xa2 Good Communication skills with Engineers at site, Project Managers of Construction companies, consultants and other Interior Designers. Submittal of documentation to the site project engineers and discussion of their requirement and implementation of their requirements. \xe2\x80\xa2 Pitching products and or services. \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers especially VIPs in Ras Al Khaimah who are close to the owners of Zein Italia Marble. \xe2\x80\xa2 Reviewing the Sales team progress and sales targets. \xe2\x80\xa2 Reviewing and negotiating all the new job contracts before approval from the Management. \xe2\x80\xa2 Coordinating with other departments in Zein Italia Marble to produce materials on time for the concerned project. This includes, purchasing department for material recruitment, factory for production etc. \xe2\x80\xa2 A General Study of the current market situation should be prepared by the employee concentrating on Ras Al Khaimah being our local market and Dubai being the centre of the high-end jobs in the next couple of years. \xe2\x80\xa2 Through this market research, Zein Italia Marble can plan ahead for the jobs which it will implement. Objectives: We are looking for a confident Projects Manager to work for our marble and granite company in Ras Al Khaimah. This role requires a person with an engineering background, with good experience in the marble and granite field and excellent communication and negotiation skills with site engineers and clients.
