Job Description

Urgently Require Project Manager at OMAN Duties, Responsilbilities & Accountabilities Reports to the Executive Director Responsible for overall control of projects allocated to him Responsible for review of tender submissions Responsible for communication with the customer with respect to queries, project plans, progress and complaints Responsible for Contract Review process to ensure that all requirements of the customer has been considered Develop a cost-effective plan and schedule for completion of project following a logical pattern for utilization of resources. Responsible for planning projects and ensuring that all bottlenecks which arise are suitably resolved Responsible for planning and allocation of material, manpower and machinery Coordinate the efforts of all parties involved in the project, which include the architects, consultants, contractors, sub-contractors and laborers Monitor the progress of the construction activities on a regular basis and hold regular status meetings with all the sub-teams Monitor the progress of the construction activities on a regular basis and hold regular status meetings with all the sub-teams Coordinating with QA/QC personnel for inspections and stage clearances

Responsible for ensuring that all the requirements of IMS have been communicated, understood and implemented by employees

Ensure that employees are given proper induction and training

Ensure that all customer complaints are registered and suitable corrective action is taken against them

Is responsible and held accountable for their projects health and safety performance

Contact each supervisor frequently (daily) about health and safety & make daily observations of supervisors' health and safety activities

Review and approve all job procedures developed as a result of job safety analyses; install approved procedures; require each supervisor to check use of the procedures

Approve and annually review all projects health and safety risk assessments, rules and regulations; maintain strict enforcement; and develop plans to ensure employee instruction and re-instruction Authorize purchases of tools and equipment necessary to attain compliance with site specifications and statutory regulations

Develop a training plan that includes specific job instructions for new or transferred employees; follow up on training by supervisors

Personally Report and investigate all accidents / incidents, near misses and lost workday cases and significant losses to the division manager; follow up on corrective action

Adopt standards for assigning personal protective equipment to employees; insist on strict enforcement; and make spot field checks to determine compliance

Evaluate his project teams health and safety performances Develop in each member of management strong health and safety attitudes and a clear understanding of specific duties and responsibilities Instill, by action, example, and training, a sincere health and safety attitude Requirements & Salary Qualifications : BE/BTECH - Civil *PMP Qualification is desirable. SALARY : 1hidden_mobile RO Experience : The candidate should have full timework experience of at least 10 years as a project manager or 7 years as a construction manager in a construction company - 15 years & above.
