- With a Master\xe2\x80\x99s or Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in engineering preferably in Electric Power Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- This role requires strong Project Management skills, technical expertise with min experience of 15 years and have executed at least one HVDC project independently.
- Developing project plans, timelines, and budgets for HVDC projects.
- Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
- Leading project teams and providing direction to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Engage with clients to develop and determine the HVDC system\xe2\x80\x99s design parameters
- Ensure adherence to and compliance with the client\xe2\x80\x99s expectations, requirements, policies and processes throughout all phases of the project.
- Monitoring and controlling project progress, identifying and addressing risks and issues as they arise.
- Technical coordination of System Design deliveries as well as managing the risks and identifying opportunities to reduce time and cost while ensuring quality requirements are met.
- Managing project resources and ensuring they are allocated effectively.
- Communicating project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including senior management.
- Managing Stakeholders interface and expectations
- Leading project meetings, providing regular updates, and facilitating decision-making.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
- Providing technical expertise and guidance on HVDC project requirements and solutions.
- Evaluating project performance, identifying lessons learned, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Active participation in Management of Change procedures
- Evaluating Design Changes and Concession requests
