to oversee and manage interior design projects from conception to completion. The Project Manager will coordinate with clients, designers, suppliers, and contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage multiple interior design projects simultaneously.
Collaborate with clients to understand project goals, requirements, and budgets.
Develop project plans, timelines, and schedules.
Coordinate with designers, architects, suppliers, and contractors.
Monitor project progress, budgets, and quality control.
Conduct site visits to ensure design implementation meets expectations.
Resolve issues or conflicts that arise during project execution.
Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and regulatory standards.
Provide regular project updates and reports to management and clients.
Manage procurement of materials, furniture, and finishes.
Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication among stakeholders.
Oversee project documentation and contracts.
Support the sales/design team during proposal and pitch stages as needed.
Qualifications:Education & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum
3-5 years of experience
in project management within the interior design, architecture, or construction industry.
Proven track record of successfully managing interior fit-out or renovation projects.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of interior design processes, materials, and finishes.
Excellent project planning and organizational skills.
Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Trello, Asana).
Knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other design software is a plus.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Attention to detail and quality-oriented mindset.
Preferred Certifications:
PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification is an advantage.
OSHA or other safety-related certifications are a plus.
