Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and accomplished Project Manager to lead the FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) and OS&E (Operating Supplies & Equipment) procurement and installation phases of prestigious hospitality design projects in Oman. This crucial role requires a proven track record of success in managing complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of FF&E and OS&E procurement, from initial selection and sourcing to final installation and closeout. Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans. Lead and mentor project teams, including designers, contractors, and vendors. Manage vendor relationships, negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure adherence to project plans. Prepare and present regular progress reports to clients and stakeholders. Manage change orders and other project modifications effectively. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and building codes. Collaborate closely with the design team to ensure seamless integration of FF&E and OS&E into the overall project design. Manage the resolution of any conflicts or disputes that may arise during the project lifecycle. Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. Master's degree in Hospitality Design or a related discipline is highly preferred. Minimum 15 years of professional experience in interior design, with a significant focus on hospitality design projects. Minimum 8 years of professional experience in the procurement, specification, and installation of FF&E and OS&E. Proven experience in consultancy within the design and construction industry. Demonstrated experience managing building projects from conception to completion. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Experience working in Oman (preferred).
