WHAT TO EXPECT DAY TO DAY Camlin Energy has an exciting opportunity for someone to join us in a Project Manager position within the Global Services Department, ME team.
RESPONSIBILITES
- Representing Camlin, by ensuring the customer comes first, and that field projects are maintained on track and supported in a professional manner whilst delivering excellent levels of professional service.
- Ensures compliance with Camlin and customer site specific Health, Safety and Environmental policies.
- Undertakes and regularly updates all training associated with the role including external mandatory H&S training as directed.
- Responsible for complete project management and ensure the Installation / Commissioning of Camlin HV products is undertaken to the fullest satisfaction of client
- Part of the GSD team, Regular travel throughout Middle East and subsequent areas to undertake project management works based on projects available.
- Attend client meetings to update status of project progress, submission of relevant documents, complete reports on works carried out, work orders and service appointments.
- Maintain constant communication with client, local partner, and department functions, enabling efficient & timely planning and scheduling of works.
- Supports the non-conformance chain of issues within field projects, applying critical thinking skills, working with customer support to ensure relevant feedback and details are received and passed on for verification and analysis.
- Review new project requirements and assist sales team & local partner to prepare competitive bid
- Attend pre-sales technical meetings with client along with Regional Manager and conduct site inspections to support the bid preparation
- Undertake other such duties that are required, commensurate with the role.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
- A positive, can-do attitude, keen to learn and develop your skills.
- Electrical background and relevant project management experience.
- IT proficient with good documentation management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and professionalism.
- A willingness to work additional hours and the flexibility to work weekends as required; must be able to travel within the specified region and possibly to other customer locations as and when required, therefore a current passport and driver’s license are essential.
- Worked in GCC in similar role for atleast 3 years
QUALIFICATIONS
- BE / BTECH in electrical/mechanical qualification with project management or similar relevant qualification
DESIRED CRITERIA Candidates are expected to have one or more of the following:
- At least 5 years’ industry experience.
- Experience in project management & reporting.
- Demonstrate experience in critical thinking.
- Demonstrate experience for customer interactions.
- GCC experience is a must
