Overall, in charge of the site and project design team.
Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.
Review all shop drawings, material submittals, quotations, mockups, inspection requests, etc.
Monitor and control the project to make sure that it is completed within the target timeframe and budget.
Inspection of the site for progress as per program, quality controls, clarifications, and work approvals.
Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
Manage contracts with vendors, suppliers, and sub-contractors by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
Monitoring material procurement schedule.
Monitor progress and adjust as needed.
Monitor and control the full testing and commissioning process.
Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
Comprehensive project documentation.
Review and approve all project close-out documents.
Contract administration including but not limited to site visits and project meetings.
Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution.
Preparing correspondences, minutes of meetings, payment certificates, snag lists, etc.
Establish and maintain relationships with third parties, vendors & subcontractors.
Provide open communication to the project team through meetings/minutes/update memos.
Team leader who can direct, organize, and mentor junior staff and maintain a good working relationship with team members in the workplace.
Other tasks as required.
Requirements
Leadership, communication, time management, negotiating, team management, and critical thinking.
Excellent organization and documentation skills.
Coordinate with Authorities to expedite Permits and Approvals.
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Project Management, Interior Design, or any related field.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
Should have a minimum of 8 years related working experience and 3-4-years as a Project Manager.
Ability to plan, organize and coordinate multiple projects, maintain excellent client relations, client management, and consultation skills.
Strong time management skills are a must
Must have the ability to maintain existing client relationships and build new ones.
Proven ability to solve problems creatively.
Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe, AutoCAD, Sketchup, and Revit
Proficiency in 3D modeling, visualization, and graphic software
Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle.
Excellent analytical skills.
Experience negotiating and managing project scope and fees as well as risk management and financial accountability
Superior leadership skills who can organize and manage the team to work for a common goal, address properly the 'what can go wrongs' in the project, and complete the tasks within the timeframe.
Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful. Positive 'can-do' attitude.
Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
Should have contacts in similar business lines (Project / Fit-out, Consultants, Contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers, Interior Designers, Architects, etc.)
Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
English and Arabic speaking is required. French and Italian speaking would be an advantage.
