Job Description

1. Project Leadership & Execution

Lead end-to-end execution of the 220 kV substation project (engineering, procurement, construction, installation, testing & commissioning). Establish project strategy, execution plan, and milestones in alignment with contract requirements. Manage overall site activities and ensure progress as per baseline schedule and budget.

2. Client & Stakeholder Management

Serve as the primary point of contact with client, consultants, and local authorities. Conduct regular project meetings and progress reviews in Arabic and English. Ensure timely submission of reports, invoices, and approvals as per client requirements.

3. Planning, Cost & Controls

Oversee project planning, scheduling, and cost control functions. Ensure optimum utilization of resources (manpower, equipment, and materials). Monitor budget compliance, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.

4. Contracts & Commercials

Review contract documents, technical specifications, and commercial terms. Manage subcontractor and vendor contracts, ensuring compliance and timely delivery. Lead claims, variations, and extension of time (EOT) negotiations with the client.

5. Quality, HSE & Compliance

Ensure adherence to utility specifications, international standards, and QA/QC procedures. Promote a strong safety culture and ensure full compliance with HSE policies. Oversee project audits, inspections, and ensure regulatory compliance.

6. Team Leadership & Development

Lead multidisciplinary project teams including engineering, civil, electrical, procurement, QA/QC, planning, and HSE. Motivate, mentor, and build local teams for effective project delivery. Foster cross-cultural collaboration in a bilingual (Arabic-English) work environment.

Pay: QAR22,000.00 - QAR26,000.00 per month
