Job Description
Title: Project Manager 1. JOB DETAILS: Job Title: Project Manager Reports to:As per organization chart Unit / Division: Undeveloped Reservoir Project/ Hail & Ghasha Project Department / Section:Project Management Location: As per Project requirements 2. QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor\'s degree in engineering, preferably in Chemical engineering, graduated from an accredited university with a minimum of twenty (20+) years of experience in managing mega /major project in execution stage (EPC). 15 years of experience shall be in the Oil & Gas projects which includes sour gas processing facilities, licensors packages, vendors packages and/or Petrochemical industry, including minimum (5) years, preferred in GCC region. Must have 5 years of experience in similar position in EPC multi billion dollars projects. 3. JOB PURPOSE: Directs and manages the execution of the project while working with EPC contractor and its multiple subcontractors providing expertise and input on application of COMPANY and industry standards in the project management, contract management, project controls, tendering and award processes as to achieve Project mandates and design objectives. 4. - Work with other project managers to lead the project execution as per schedule and achieve deadlines.
- Monitor project progress and provide prevention measures to avoid any project schedule slippage.
- Follow up with Contractor\xe2\x80\x99s procurement activities to ensure placing purchase orders on time to ensure material delivery at site as per Required On Site dates and in line with construction execution plan.
- Follow up with Contractor\xe2\x80\x99s Subcontracting activities to ensure commencing site activities on time.
- Review project execution plans and strategies and subsequently monitor the execution of these plans.
- Ensure timely and completeness of review of projects deliverables prepared by Contractor/ Consultant
- Participate in key HSE reviews and workshops providing expertise to ensure design is meeting project requirements
- Ensure that all actions, works and services undertaken by Contractor are in accordance with the respective Agreement with Company.
